Hi. My name is Janica Horne and welcome to my ePortfolio. Here you will discover many things about me including the experiences and lessons I've learned to create the person I am today. In August 2016, I began my journey at South Piedmont Community College (SPCC) and will be graduating in December 2017. I am continuing my education at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Spring of 2018. As you begin to take a closer look into my ePortfolio, you will see parts of my past, bits of my present, and a glimpse of my future. This involves core skills, program outcomes, and goals I have set to achieve.

Throughout my time here at SPCC, I have learned many things but significantly, I have found out how important it is to finish "it." An "it" is anything you have started and yet to finish. My "it" is completing my Associates in Art at SPCC, but soon my "it" will change and so will yours. Whatever your "it" is, finish it. This quote ties into my theme and background. In the background, circles of varying sizes hover like stars in the sky. They represent my transformation from a tiny point of light, far away in the distance, to the more fully developed person that I've become.
